Job Title: Maintenance Helper

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Maintenance Helper to join our team! In this role, you’ll support the maintenance team in repairing and maintaining a variety of equipment, including forklifts, cranes, trucks, and more. The ideal candidate will have basic experience with hand and power tools and a strong willingness to learn about mechanics and equipment repair. You'll assist with general maintenance tasks and learn new skills to grow in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with general equipment maintenance and repairs.

• Help with troubleshooting and minor repairs on forklifts, cranes, trucks, and other machinery.

• Use hand and power tools safely for mechanical tasks.

• Support the maintenance team with various tasks as directed.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including lockout/tagout.

Essential Skills:

• Basic experience with hand and power tools.

• Willingness to learn about mechanical repairs and maintenance.

• Strong attention to safety and detail.

• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.

• Good communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience is a plus but not required.

• Familiarity with basic mechanical concepts is a plus.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in both shop and outdoor environments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
