Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. The team comprises disciplines including Treasury, Tax, Controllers and Financial Planning & Analysis, and manages and partners on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations.

We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, Liquidity Requirements and Testing Lead - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Senior Vice President - C14) based in Tampa, USA. The C14 Liquidity Requirements and Testing Lead will have the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee testing for set of products and/or reports assigned to the team, ensure testers understand and execute testing following strict standards and ensuring impact is fully understood for more complex products/reports assigned

  • Lead participation in working groups representing Liquidity Operations ensure items under testing are presented and properly articulate expected impact and testing approach

  • Be a first level of escalation for risks to testing where timeliness or quality of testing could be compromised, and coordinate with teams where dependencies lie

  • Ensure exception processes as applicable, when triggered are enforced and documented.

  • Instill operational discipline into existing team processes

  • Work with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plans

  • Mentor and advise on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application within role and the business

  • Assist with the implementation of policies and procedures

  • Serve as a technical mentor for an area within the business

  • Build and maintain a thorough understanding of related product reporting and analytics and utilize knowledge of systems and process flows to provide insight and recommendations on identified issues

  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.

  • Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.

  • Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services preferred

  • Global Project Management experience preferred

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

  • Proven organizational and time management skills

  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience

  • Master’s degree preferred

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
