Wittenberg Weiner Consulting LLC Joint SOF Trainer (Protection/CBRNE) IV in Tampa, Florida

CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is currently seeking a Joint SOF Trainer Protection/CBRNE) IV. The Joint SOF Trainer (Protection/CBRNE) IV assists Theater Special Operations Commands, SOF Service Components, and joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) Headquarters in the planning, coordination, and execution of functional and joint collective training that focuses at the operational and strategic levels of war. The trainers support joint SOF headquarters includes individual, staff, and unit collective training, academic events, senior leader seminars, planning exercises, tabletop exercises, and functional area workshops. This support culminates in the execution of joint mission rehearsals, command post exercises, and other collective training events that supports the USSOCOM 350-12 certification and validation program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and strategic and operational-level joint training primarily in the area of Protection / Readiness Officer or Hazmat in CBRNE. Perform in-depth research, analysis, and training to support the Theater Special Operations Commands, SOF Service Components, and joint SOF Task Force Commanders’ readiness and exercise programs.

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

  • Ability to work in confined areas.

  • Ability to work in remote and rural environments.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.

  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

  • Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS.

Travel:

  • 21-49% / Regular Travel.

  • This position may require travel to remote overseas locations for extended periods of time.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years’ warfighting operational experience; or prior E8+, CW3+ with 10 years warfighting operational experience.

  • Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience performing Protection / Readiness Officer duties or Hazmat duties in the Chemical Biological Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE).

  • Knowledge and experience working with applicable policy and doctrine as it relates to CBRNE response operations and Joint Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction: Joint policies and procedures; DoD, Services and joint organizational structures; other key interagency organizations involved in CBRNE response and CWMD support.

  • Expertise and knowledge in military technical methods of force deployment and force sourcing.

  • Experience leading, coordinating, and establishing interdepartmental and intergovernmental relationships and agreements necessary to manage the development and execution of large, complex, warfighter concepts, assessment, and demonstration portfolio in accordance with fiscal and program policy and directives.

  • Knowledge identifying hazards, developing controls, evaluating, and controlling operational risk reduction measures with support across the joint force and interagency organizations.

  • Experience reviewing anti-terrorism standing operating procedures for compliance with AT guidelines.

  • Working knowledge managing a unit readiness program and maintaining CRBNE defense and concepts of support, supporting annexes, and SOPs.

  • Knowledge and ability to develop and present briefs for problem resolution.

  • Knowledge and experience with communications and information systems training.

  • Experience in Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) planning and development

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience on JMETL, UJTL, and MTP.

  • Demonstrated ability and experience in developing and presenting doctrinal reports, messages, orders, map overlays, and graphical symbology for communications.

  • Excellent presentation, communication and organization skills

  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.

  • Professional proficiency in English is required.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.

  • Valid driver’s license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain company liability insurance through a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience planning and executing advanced concept technology demonstrations and user assessments to transition critical technologies to the warfighter as an interim operational capability.
