We are looking for an IT Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida. Must be local to the area in case you ever need to visit in office for meetings etc. otherwise remote In this role, you will be working in the Healthcare/NHS industry, focusing on business continuity planning, disaster recovery planning, risk assessment, incident response, and compliance reporting. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive business continuity plans for healthcare services, ensuring uninterrupted patient care and hospital functions during disruptions.

• Conduct business impact analysis on healthcare operations to identify risks and prioritize recovery efforts.

• Collaborate with clinical departments to define recovery objectives and resources for healthcare systems and applications.

• Create and maintain disaster recovery plans for IT systems including electronic health records, medical imaging systems, financial applications, and communication platforms.

• Regularly test and simulate disaster recovery plans to validate effectiveness and enhance response capabilities.

• Document test results and work with IT teams to implement improvements aimed at reducing recovery time and ensuring data integrity.

• Identify potential risks to healthcare IT systems, data privacy, and patient safety, and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.

• Stay updated on healthcare industry regulations and cybersecurity trends to enhance risk management practices.

• Coordinate response efforts during IT incidents and emergencies.

• Lead IT system recovery activities, including data restoration, application recovery, and infrastructure resilience.

Requirements • Demonstrated experience in IT Risk and Compliance, preferably within the Healthcare/NHS industry

• Proficiency in CRM systems is essential

• Demonstrated knowledge of Compliance and its application in the IT sector

• Must have a strong understanding of Business Continuity Planning

• Experience in BCP - Disaster Recovery is essential

• Familiarity with Disaster Recovery Business Continuity is crucial

• Prior experience in the Healthcare Industry would be a significant advantage

• Ability to manage Systems operations effectively and efficiently

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
