Join Our Team: Sales Field Trainer at Gallo
Gallo is on the lookout for an energetic Sales Field Trainer to empower our Field Sales team with top-notch training and development support. In this dynamic role, you'll be the linchpin for implementing and facilitating sales training programs across our winery and distributor sales forces within an assigned area. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining a strong presence with distributors, providing exemplary sales training, and fostering relationships that open up new business development opportunities for the winery.
Your mission involves working closely with the National US Sales training team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales training programs. You'll be hands-on in training, developing, and coaching new sales employees, including District Managers and Key Account Managers, ensuring they're equipped with the skills to excel.
We're seeking a candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving sales excellence. You'll have the opportunity to modify corporate training curriculums, track training metrics, and ensure budgetary compliance, all while identifying and addressing the developmental needs of our sales force.

What You Will Need:
High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of Gallo/distributor sales experience; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of external selling experience.
Candidates for this position must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Required to obtain a California driver’s license or appropriate state driver’s license within 30 days of hire.
Required to be 21 years of age or older.
Required to obtain liquor license as required by state/locality.
Required to travel by air and automobile up to 75% during the course of business
Required to see, taste, and smell wine and perform product tastings as part of job functions.
Experience demonstrating strong leadership selling, time management, public speaking skills.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Compensation:
Hiring Salary Range Posted: $72,900.00 -$121,600.00 / annually
Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
