Grow your career as a DLP Engineer with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 3 days onsite per week.
Join one of the world's most renowned global banks and trusted brand with over 200 years of continuously evolving financial services worldwide. Will be responsible for driving efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks by developing DLP policies. The overall objective is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with the company’s data security policy. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.
Contract Duration: 12+ Months
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in: Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics or Information Systems).
3+ years of strong technical experience in cybersecurity.
Demonstrated ability to research and apply current information regarding data leakage protection.
Experience developing DLP policies.
Experience in large enterprise environments.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience with Symantec Broadcom.
What You Will Be Doing
Learn to develop DLP policies, response rules and allow/block lists based on business requirements.
Identify policy tuning/enhancement opportunities to reduce false positives.
Analyze, define and interpret business needs and issues by gathering, analyzing, documenting and validating the business requirements.
Mitigate risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, impacts to business, and required corrective actions and develop security solutions.
Ensure compliance and seek opportunities to enhance the efficiency of policies and procedures.
