Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Director of Software Engineering based in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of developers, overseeing the design, architecture, and development of software applications. You will also be required to contribute hands-on when necessary. This position is based in the transport industry and will require proficiency in Node.js, React, and PHP.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of PHP and Node.js developers.

• Oversee the design, architecture, and development of software applications.

• Ensure the use of React for front-end applications.

• Contribute to hands-on design, architecture, and development when necessary.

• Manage the lifecycle of software development from concept and design to testing.

• Ensure the team delivers high-quality technology solutions on time and within budget.

• Foster a collaborative, inspiring environment within the team.

• Oversee the resolution of technical problems in a timely manner.

• Ensure adherence to the latest industry trends and use of best practices.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to establish project plans and objectives. Requirements • Proven experience in a Director role within the Transport industry

• Extensive knowledge of the Transport industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities

• Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams

• Strong strategic planning and business development skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficiency in using Node.js, React, React.js, PHP Development, and PHP

• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial planning

• Proven track record in improving operational efficiency and performance

• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
