Job Description:
This position is responsible for assisting the Corps officer in developing, administering, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating the day-to-day operations of the Corps Youth Department:
- Develops and leads a variety of Corps programs including the after-school program, youth, Sunday school, and worship services
- Assists in coordinating and participating in outreach efforts and programs to assist the youth in our community
Requirements and Working Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Due to the nature of the job, must read, write, and communicate in English. Ability to perform mathematical calculations. Ability to type and keypunch information into a computer.Ability to sort and file documents alphabetically and numerically. Ability to operate various general office equipment including a telephone, typewriter, computer, and adding machine. Limited amount of effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
Work is performed in a normal office environment with some exposure to outdoor temperatures and driving a vehicle in moderate to heavy traffic.

Days and Hours:
Full Time position; 37.50 hours per week.

Pay:
Starting rate is: $17.73 to $19.95 per hour; depends on experience. Benefits are offered.
