Overview
The Backorder Expeditor evaluates, processes and ships backorder tickets from other locations to fulfill orders placed on backorder by Customer Service or any other ordering platform. The Expeditor manages the bill complete report to ensure timely invoice processing and works closely with warehouse personnel and Branch Managers to expedite shipped orders and utilizes Pacejet for the best cost of shipping.
What you will need:
Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Demonstrated customer service skills and focus.
Be familiar with the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and SalesPad.
How you will make an Impact:
Read and follow all notes on the customer card pertaining to the handling of accounts.
Handle backorders with credit card pay terms and move them to other branches to be fulfilled.
Work quickly to provide substitutes for WSL or DISCO items placed on backorder through reporting.
Use the backorder expediter queue to evaluate the fulfillment of large backorder tickets.
Communicate directly with the Sales team, managers, and warehouse personnel to process backorder tickets.
Manage all backorder expeditor and bill complete reports daily.
Assist with ETA dates and transfer requests made by the Customer Service and Sales teams.
Participate in Lunch and Learns and all other product knowledge opportunities.
Acknowledge and answer all emails promptly.
