Robert Half is currently recruiting an Accounting Manager for a rapidly growing company in the commercial services industry. This dynamic organization has experienced substantial growth and continues to expand its presence nationwide. The Accounting Manager will oversee a team of three Senior Accountants and play a vital role in strengthening internal controls, including SOX compliance, while driving efficiencies in general ledger management and system automation. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Senior Accountants, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.

• Oversee general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

• Manage and enhance internal controls, ensuring SOX compliance and alignment with public company standards.

• Collaborate on system improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

• Coordinate with external auditors to fulfill audit requirements.

• Support ongoing initiatives to optimize processes and integrate new technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.

5+ years of experience in accounting, including 1-2 years in public accounting.

Expertise in general ledger management, SOX compliance, and internal controls.

Familiarity with FinancialForce/Salesforce (Certinia) is a plus.

Prior leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Experience working in a publicly traded company environment is highly desirable.
