Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our team located in Tampa, Florida. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be handling accounts payable and payroll, managing vendors, and processing invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of accounts payable

• Manage payroll duties, including entering hours into the Paychex system

• Conduct bank reconciliations and process outgoing wires

• Manage vendor relationships and maintain regular communication

• Check and respond to emails promptly and professionally

• Keep track of payment statuses

• Process invoices, with a volume of 30-40 per week

• Sync inventory software with QuickBooks and utilize QuickBooks for various tasks

• Handle account reconciliations on a regular basis

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SAP, and other systems as needed. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing and Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Data Entry tasks

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Oracle and SAP

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial tasks

• Experience in Bank Reconciliations and Monthly Bank Reconciliation

• Knowledge of Automated Payroll and HR Payroll System

• Experience in using Paychex Payroll for payroll management

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Relevant certification in Accounting would be an asset.
