Role Summary
Manufactures products by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring work flow. This position will be organizing, planning, and coordinating plant shop floor activities on a particular work shift.
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in assembling parts or assemblies into valves, applying knowledge of assembly process, tools, equipment, products, and production methods to build a valve.
They answer and report to the production or manufacturing manager and provide them with the detailed information about the daily production, quality, sales and shipping. The assembly process is generally a part of the manufacturing process and usually includes the assembling of specific parts of the product and making it ready for dispatching.

Provide leadership, supervise, develop and coach leads and team members to ensure that they understand and contribute to company objectives.
Foster creativity, innovation, and communication within the Assembly team.
Coordinate training of department employees; ensure quality and production process requirements are achieved.
Manage and develop staffing strategies. Provide timely and constructive feedback regarding performance.
Lead daily meetings with Line Coordinators
Develop team to solve their own day-to-day operational issues. Conduct and oversee daily communication and problem-solving activities.
Establish daily goals for the operation. Use KPIs to communicate performance.
Prepare daily reports outlining Assembly activities and metrics. Drive efficiency improvements and monitor direct and indirect labor.
Lead 6S efforts, stress good housekeeping and safe work practices.
Monitoring MII Hrs., Operator efficiency/ Utilization and productivity.
Develop and implement plans to improve safety, quality, delivery and productivity.
Be enthusiastic, hard-working and have a can-do attitude.
Work as a true team player with other functional departments and leaders. Maintain a smooth flow of communication.
10+ Years of Experience and college /University degree/Technical degree or higher

Accountability and direction of all directly and indirectly reporting employees and contractors. This includes the following activities:

Provides ongoing supervision and motivation to the production ·
Builds, motivates, and retains a team that consistently meets production deadlines
Shop floor supervisor reports to Production Manager Assembly and Test performance
Maximize the level of output of the manufacturing department by ensuring operating costs of the department are minimized.
Responsible for the health and safety of his directly reporting employees and for ensuring a harassment-free environment in the production.
Continuously evaluates production performance and focuses on continuous improvement in areas of opportunity/non-compliance · Assures good housekeeping practices (5S) through auditing
