Job Summary
Responsible for performing and supporting the marketing database analysis of all sections of Meskwaki Bingo Casino Hotel including development, coordination, implementation and directing all aspects and activities of marketing database ranging from maintenance of direct mail operations, extracting mail lists, detailed segmentation and ROI analysis for all segments, direct mail, and casino loyalty programs.
Essential Job Duties
- Extract data, perform analyses, and create reports; summarize data and provide findings and conclusions including ROI and recommendations to increase ROI.
- Design and development of all database analytics and compile pro and post analysis for all marketing campaigns and special events.
- Provide monthly/quarterly/annual analysis for all direct mail programs.
- Responsible to maintain, update and monitor the patron database and develop guidelines for key entry and file maintenance within the casino management system (CMS).
- Assist with the coordination, planning, development, and execution of direct marketing programs with the Marketing Director.
- Coordinate the database marketing requests and fulfillment of trackable offer campaigns related to, but not limited to, advertising, events, promotions, entertainment, and sponsorships through all direct response marketing mediums.
- Maintain a calendar of all scheduled direct mail programs and ensure timelines are met.
- Responsible for setting up all marketing offers, ensuring accuracy, and testing configurations.
- Assist with establishing operating procedures to track and monitor individual campaigns to identify responders and ensure data relative to their gaming activity is tracked and reported.
- Maintain on-going communications with MIS department for maintaining databases and extracting appropriate reporting data.
- Make recommendations on database selections to ensure profitable mail campaigns.
- Protect the integrity of the company database by ensuring all data control procedures are followed.
- Assist with setting parameters and entry of Club Meskwaki members loyalty free play and other offers. Ensure all amounts are entered correctly and on a timely basis.
- Communicate and network effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
- Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
- Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Meskwaki Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
- Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
- Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
- Must have the ability to maintain strict confidentiality relative to financial, casino and player data, policies, and marketing plans.
- Must meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks / databases / projects simultaneously.
- Maintain regular and dependable attendance, work any day of the week and any shiftas required in professional attire, display a high level of personal hygiene, and follow personal appearance standards.
Supplemental Job Duties
- Assist in the creation of an annual direct mail marketing plan and budget in accordance with Meskwaki guidelines.
- Stay within budget and communicate variances during monthly reviews with the Director f Marketing.
- To foster teamwork, all Marketing team members are required to provide positive support of all co-workers, management, guests, and the company daily.
- Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
Ability to maneuver in all areas of casino, ascent/descent from stairs, frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching, and/or prolonged periods of time focusing on tasks. Ability to lift at least 25 lbs. May regularly need to lift/ move, push or pull up material or boxes necessary to the job functions, with or without assistance. Be able to work in a smoking environment with loud and continual noise levels for extended periods of time.
Specific vision ability includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Visual acuity to discern and examine text, graphics, color, and symmetry. Speech to communicate clearly, express ideas and convey information in an understandable manner. Ability to hear for listening comprehension and to understand ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Manual dexterity to operate office or required equipment and examine or update documents, records, data, instructions, logs, and files.
Social perceptiveness to assess and understand others reactions and behavior. Critical thinking to use logic and reasoning, reach conclusions/solutions. Comprehension in assessing, analyzing, and processing alpha, numeric, and visual data and completing required tasks or documents accurately. Ability to tolerate stress and conduct tasks under critical deadlines. Ability to concentrate on tasks over a period of time without being distracted.
