Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities
Work with and report to VP of Corporate Facilities to execute and complete all Corporate Real Estate & Facilities project buildouts, remodels, renovations, decoms, relocations, MACs, & other large value capital projects.
Work with architects, design engineers, GCs, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure complete facility design and proper occupancy planning according to business needs, building codes, and life safety codes.
Oversee floor plan reconfigurations for new clients or expansion of existing clients.
Candidate will have complete ownership of Facilities construction management lifecycle and interior space planning from pre-construction project programming to project closure and turnover.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Capital project pipeline creation
Interior design (interior design certification preferred – NCIDQ or other)
CAD experience/competency
Project Management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or Interior Design
PMP or FMP credential preferred
Construction Management experience (construction management credential preferred)
Space planning
Moves, Adds, Changes (MACs)
Furniture inventory management
Building permit coordination & management
Familiarity with RSMeans estimating software
Critical Facilities experience (standby diesel generators, ATSs, UPSs, critical cooling)
Utilities experience (i.e., electric utility, domestic water utility & wastewater, natural gas utility, ISP internet service entrance utility)
Fire & Life Safety System experience (Fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire suppression systems)
Building code compliance (IBC, NFPA, AHJ, etc.)
Energy code compliance
Microsoft Project experience/competency
Blueprint reading/construction document reading
Work with and lead general contractors (GCs)
Work with municipal building departments to obtain building permits when needed (complete or oversee the creation of building permit applications as needed)
Construction schedule creation
Extremely well written (candidate will be communicating in writing often with executive leadership and other internal stakeholders on project status)
Construction project budget creation
Bachelor’s degree Facility Management, Interior Design, Construction Management
Minimum five years Facilities project design, space planning, project management, relocations, new site buildouts, site decommissioning, or engineering operations.
