We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented contract management expert to join our dynamic team of three contract managers in the Bureau of Operations, Operational Support Services Unit in the Division of Medical Quality Assurance. As a vital member of our team, you'll be one of the go-to people for all things contract-related, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of agreements that directly support our Division’s mission, as required by Section 287.057(15), Florida Statutes.

    Your Specific Responsibilities:

    Oversee the entire contract lifecycle: From initial drafting and negotiation to amendments, renewals, and closeouts, you'll guide each contract through every stage.

    Keep a vigilant eye on compliance: You’ll ensure that our contracts adhere to all state regulations and internal policies.

    Master the financial aspects: You'll manage budgets, track expenditures, and perform regular reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.

    Collaborate with a high-performing team: You'll work closely with two other contract managers, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve shared goals.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Contract Management Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, and compliance monitoring.

Financial Literacy: Experience with fiscal management, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with Florida's state software systems (FLAIR, FIS, FACTS, MFMP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, and Excel).

Analytical Thinker: Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and apply relevant laws and regulations.

Strong Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications :

Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) Certification: Current certification is preferred, but we also welcome candidates committed to obtaining their FCCM within the first six months of employment.
