The Work You Will Do:
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, Full Time Employee (FTE) position. You will be p roviding the following:
Consulting with users and translates their requirements and needs into Information Technology (IT) solutions. Plans, researches, designs, and implements application modifications and enhancements with a team. Codes and tests applications. Creates test data and test scripts.
Consulting with staff, users, and management to determine requirements for new systems or modifications. Support the migration of legacy systems to supported environments. Analyzes, reviews, develops, or modifies (screens, databases), tests programs and systems using workflow charts and diagrams. Applies knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter and symbolic logic to create or modify web-based application systems.
Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. Provides technical assistance to customers during UAT. Keeps up-to-date with current technology as it relates to job functions.
Continually explore opportunities to improve processes in the ongoing development of analytical tools and models, ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and analysis.
Attend necessary educational training courses for technical improvement.
Devises flow-charts and/or diagrams to illustrate logical operational steps of programs and systems (as needed).
Writes technical specifications and system documentation for programs and applications.
Troubleshoots software incidents related to supported systems and applications, identify errors, implements bug fixes, and ensures conformance to standards.
Supports additional applications assigned to the enterprise development team.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
The associates of FloridaCommerce are committed to quality in continuous improvement of all services and programs. Qualifications:
As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or other related field, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification, or equivalent work experience
2+ years of IT work experience in system analysis, development and engineering in an online environment
2+ years of IT work experience with Structured Query Language
