SPECIAL NOTES:

Four (4) years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field is required.

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field OR an associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field and (2) years of the required experience, may be used as an alternative for years of experience.

    Additional requirements:

  • Seven (7) or more years of software development experience as a .NET developer.

  • Three (3) or more years of leadership experience either managing small teams or taking lead on project.

  • Proficiency in the English language.

  • Proficient to expert level proficiency as a .Net developer.

  • Knowledge and/or experience with Microsoft Dynamics.

    Preference :

  • Competent in client-side web development technology languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Three (3) or more years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Dynamics.

    This position may be required to occasionally perform duties other than those listed on the position description.

    The salary range for this position is $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually.

    Employees of the Department of Financial Services are paid on a monthly pay cycle.

    Background check and fingerprinting is required.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING REQUIRED ENTRY LEVEL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Seven (7) or more years of software development experience, including three (3) or more years of leadership experience either managing small teams or taking lead on projects.

  • Strong C#, ASP.NET MVC fundamentals.

  • Experience with Web API, and SQL Server.

  • Understanding of JavaScript and related frameworks such as AngularJS and React.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in an Agile environment within small teams.

  • Strong problem-solving ability.

  • Proficient in the English language.

    OTHER KSAs (Incumbent may learn on job):

  • Competency in client-side web development technology languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with responsive design frameworks, preferably Bootstrap.

  • Experience with Azure or AWS.

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :

    This is a supervisory IT position that leads the Consumer Protection Application Development Team. The role manages the team's performance, provides technical direction, and ensures effective communication. They also oversee the development process from design to coding and testing, adhering to best practices and developing n-Tier Microsoft .NET web applications. In addition to team management, this role has technical responsibilities including writing clean code, designing systems architecture, and overseeing technical interfaces and database objects.
