The right candidate for this job will have a passion working with children ranging from ages six (6) weeks to five (5) years old and staff to ensure a seamless partnership with AIDB and New Adventures Learning Center.
The AIDB Child Care Liaison is responsible for providing support to New Adventures Learning Center and AIDB . The AIDB Child Care LIaison is also responsible for coordination, leadership, technical assistance and providing resources from AIDB to New Adventures Learning Center.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
:
Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
Twelve months of experience working in a licensed child care center.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a Certified Child Care Professional (CCP) certificate from the National Child Care Association Inc. (NCCA).
Associates Degree from an accredited college or university.
Two (2) years or more experience working in a child care setting.
Sign language proficiency level of Survival Plus or higher according to the AIDB evaluation system upon hire
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
:
Provide support to AIDB and New Adventures Learning Center.
Provide assistance to AIDB and New Adventures Learning Center in preparation, analysis and monitoring of all New Adventures Learning Center operations.
Develop and maintain project tracking systems showing staff roles and responsibilities, due dates and deadlines, and other details as required.
