AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
• Create and successfully drive awareness, adoption, and usage of AWS through innovative and effective programs, including events and tradeshows, webinars, online marketing campaigns, lead generation programs, promotions, etc.
• Plan and execute a series of events targeting the full spectrum of customers, such as user groups, startup events, developer communities and more.
• Develop audience-specific messaging and positioning in close cooperation with key stakeholders and translate messaging into meaningful collateral.
• Establish Amazon Web Services as a thought leader in cloud computing by securing key speaking opportunities for executives and evangelists.
• Analyze and improve the user funnel from registration to purchase and repeat usage in order to identify opportunities and segment our customers.
• Forecast, track, and report campaign effectiveness metrics and overall ROI to internal stakeholders
A day in the life
AWS HKT Marketing team is seeking a talented, experienced, self-directed a contractor to join an energetic marketing organization that is responsible for driving the development and adoption of the AWS platform by developers and startups in Taiwan. Ideally, you are someone that has experience building campaigns and programs that foster deep, meaningful adoption of technology. You have an innate understanding for developers and startups, how they make decisions to use technology. You also have a track record of building successful, metrics driven, scalable, customer centric marketing programs. If you are passionate about helping developers and startups to innovate and create tomorrow’s amazing software, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and have great project management skills, then this may be the right opportunity for you.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns, programs and events that help developers and startups become successful using AWS services. This includes developing digital & online campaigns, formulate programs and events where developers and startups learn about all the tools necessary to build modern cloud-based architectures.

Basic Qualifications
4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation
