As a Hardware Manager, you will be a core member of the Ring Taipei development team. Ideal candidate would be passionate about building IOT products. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment.

The ideal candidate:

• Enjoys working side by side with partners, colleagues and teams on tough problems

• Is highly effective and thrives in a dynamic environment with multiple, changing priorities

• Knows what is important when shipping products to customers and has been through the process from start to finish

• Is comfortable with proactive outward communication and technical leadership and never shies away from a challenge

Basic Qualifications

• BS Electrical/Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)

• 7+ years of experience developing new hardware products. Proven experience taking 3 or more products from concept to production to maintenance.

• System level architecture and board level design experience.

• Experience managing teams of 8+ engineers.

• Proven experience taking 3 or more products from concept to production and into sustaining.

• Strong organizational and technical project management skills.

• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways

• Excellent written (white papers) and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

• Experience managing teams of 15+ engineers.

• Strong expertise in board design, PCB design including schematic capture, stackup and circuit board layout.

• Expertise in IOT related technologies such as, Camera, connectivity, thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.

• Proven ability to use manufacturing and field data to drive design and manufacturing process improvements.
