Job Description:
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitor and manage intercompany orders inbound transactions.
• Close cooperation with source of supply locations, BG/division supply chain, Enterprise Operations, 3M Subsidiaries, Master Data, and 3PL/freight forwarders to ensure the timely import of Intercompany transactions.
• Understands and executes transactions following import rules and regulations complying with applicable Country Import Regulatory policies and procedures for international shipments.
• Manage communication between 3M international subsidiaries and ship locations by providing accurate data including product availability, order status, expedites, etc.
• Follow up on escalations, delays, shipment discrepancies, invoice issues, system and data errors, and transportation issues.
• Support inquiries.
• Ensure timely completion of Customer Feedback Resolution data our subsidiary partners.
• Identification of opportunities to improve and involvement in continuous improvements initiatives (Lean Six Sigma)
• Proactive problem identification and resolution.
• Support Intercompany, Plant & Country ERP deployments.
• Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards. • Good time management in daily operations
• Basic understanding of ICO model
Qualifications
• Bachelor level university college degree or higher.
• Team Player.
• Flexible in taking ad-hoc assignments as needed (i.e., work transitions/migrations, SAP and/or other connected application (CAP) deployment activities, lead continuous improvement projects, etc.)
• +2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and/or Transportation.
• SAP Experience
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge in Excel (i.e., formulas, macros) is a plus.
• Self-motivated, fast learner, willing-to-learn and works with minimal supervision.
• Must have high client service, quality oriented and continuous improvement mindset. Lean Six Sigma trained/certified is a plus.
• Work well with teams – esp. virtual and cross-functional.
• Can communicate at all levels of the organization.
• Resourceful, can work well with ambiguity.
• Must be able to multi-task and urgency prioritize
• Knowledge in English and Nihongo (Speaking and Listening skills are preferred while Writing and Reading skills are required for this role)

• Experience within multiple supply chain roles (demand, supply, production planning, distribution/transportation)
• Experience working on cross-functional and international teams
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Project Management Certification
