Job Description

Responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing the local and wide area networks within the system network to ensure maximum uptime for users. Responsibilities include designing system configurations, documenting and managing the installation of a new networks, and maintaining and upgrading existing systems as necessary. Acts as a highly technical resource with technical knowledge beyond the scope of simple network environments.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems , Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical/IT field, OR in lieu of a college at least 5+ year relevant experience, with preferred Network certifications ( CCNA , CCNP )

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Operations and/or IT Service Management s

• Knowledge and experience on Rout ing Protocols ( BGP , EIGRP , OSPF ) and Switching Protocols (VLAN, STP , VSS , HSRP ) , Wireless Technology Concepts (Channels, Frequenc ies , DCA , RRM , Authentication) a nd IP Servi ces ( DNS, DHCP, I PAM , SNMP)

• Knowledge and experience on network infrastructure suppliers and service offerings such as Cisco (Routers, Switches, Firewalls) , Viptela and Zscaler

• Available to work a shift that includes a weekend day, including some holidays to support 24x7x365 coverage

• Strong communications and customer service skills, with ability to work in stressful situations and provide customer-facing support in a professional manner

• Strong analytical skills, able to breakdown complex data to find opportunities, recognize problems, draw logical conclusions, and drive continuous improvements

• Ability to produce, communicate and present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
