Overview: We are looking for a Structural Project Engineer for our client, a well-established Washington-based firm, to join their growing team. In this role, you will provide structural analysis and design on a variety of both new and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in steel, wood and concrete design and will want to collaborate with a team of engineers to ensure client satisfaction. This position is located in Tacoma, WA. Pay Rate: $67,725 - $92,418 DOE Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Provide structural analysis and design on both new and renovation projects, including, civic centers, industrial buildings, educational facilities, maintenance buildings, medical office buildings, mid-rise mixed-use developments, military projects
• Utilize a full range of building materials in project designs
• Collaborate with a team of talented engineers to ensure client satisfaction on every project.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering required, master's degree in structural engineering preferred
• EIT Certification required
• Experience in structural analysis and design, including internship or related work - recent graduates with a structural emphasis and an EIT welcome to apply
• Knowledge of Steel, Concrete, and Wood Design required
• Familiarity with International Building Code and ASCE 7 required
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software preferred
• Masonry Design knowledge preferred
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Outstanding verbal and written skills, and experience working with staff on all levels
• Excels in advanced thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
