Infoblox Information Security Analyst in Tacoma, Washington

We are looking for an Information Security Analyst to join our Information Security team onsite at our Tacoma office with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule in the future, reporting to the senior manager of Security Operations. In this role, you will assist in identifying and tracking the remediation of security vulnerabilities along with Infoblox's Security Operations team. You will also interact with Security Operations Center (SOC) team members and other business leaders and decision-makers. This is a global position, which will work with our U.S.-based Security Operations team. You are the ideal candidate if you enjoy learning new things, working collaboratively, and are highly motivated. You are a self-starter and able to handle competing priorities. What you'll do: Monitor and act on cybersecurity alerts affecting the corporate infrastructure Assist in creating metrics and supporting the SOC manager Participate in incident response events as they occur Contribute to documenting and managing technical risks in the IT Risk Register Create and improve security documentation, including process documents, run books, proposals, etc. Present and communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences Interact with multiple teams across the organization What you'll bring: 2+ years of experience in cyber security preferred, but may consider other IT experience with security-related certifications Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, such as SIEM, EDR, NDR, and ASM Knowledge of at least one industry regulatory framework or commercial security standard, such as NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, SOC2, or ISO 27001 Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities Excellent verbal communication and writing skills Bachelor's degree in engineering, information science, data science, or equivalent Preferred cybersecurity certifications: CompTIA Security+, etc. What success looks like: After six months, you will... Understand the structure of Infoblox business units and critical applications and infrastructure which must be protected Have operational knowledge of 1-2 monitoring applications used by Security Operations After about a year, you will... Have operational knowledge of all applications used by Security Operations, with in-depth knowledge of one or more applications Develop KPIs to validate the success of the Security Operations program We've got you covered: In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our compensation philosophy. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned is the base salary range for the role. The typical base salary range for this position is $66,500 - 96,910 plus corporate bonus.
