SUMMARY: The Training Coordinator plays a pivotal role in shaping the organizational training strategy, implementing it, and evaluating its effectiveness. The role involves identifying the training and development requirements and spearheading appropriate training initiatives to create a comprehensive training program for the organization. This position will administer and facilitate the training needs of the Redmond Account. The Training Coordinator will collaborate with various departments and platforms to ensure employees are well-trained in their specific areas as well as the company's broader objectives.

ESSSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Creates, develops, and facilitates training material and presentations according to the Master Tracker and Global Physical Security objectives including synchronous learning opportunities, courses, manuals, instructor-led PowerPoint presentations, and written assessments. Responsible for the Oracle program to update and track required certifications and visibility to the Regional Team.

  2. Plans, prepares, and facilitates training for security officers, supervisors, and site-based personnel on security functions, processes, responsibilities, technologies and more, taking into account variances in cultural learning styles.

  3. Maintains a documentation review cycle to ensure content remains accurate and up-to-date with processes, case law and procedures and client site branding.

  4. Manages projects with Operations personnel and other Subject Matter Experts (SME's) throughout document review and document creation cycles to ensure accuracy, usability, and procedural requirements.

  5. Manages projects for training material development and programmatic improvements with members of other teams.

  6. Partners with the Administrative Supervisors to Creates and maintains a monthly Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Assessments in accordance with required annual sustainment training for guard cards, CPR, etc.

  7. Crafts communications regarding document releases and updates and sends to appropriate audiences.

  8. Assists with Post Order Updates and sends account wide acknowledgment forms.

  9. Uploads training materials to SharePoint for account-wide access and usage as appropriate.

  10. At the direction of the Operational Management Team, assigns training in the Master Tracker (MT), Oracle and the Securitas TalentEd (LMS).

  11. Conducts weekly, monthly and quarterly self-audits to ensure 100% compliance with the required Statement of Work on training and provides monthly status reports.

  12. Serves as the initial point of contact for onsite training by acting as the primary manager of the Physical Security Training mailbox.

  13. Acts as the first point of contact for all onboarding and off-boarding Training-related tasks. Creates training profiles and assigns initial training due dates for all new hires.

  14. Acts as the Securitas TalentED administrator for the region.

  15. Performs tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as required for assigned office.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Must have a reliable means of communication.

  • Must have a reliable means of transportation.

  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

  • Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.

  • Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Experience in training program development and implementation, delivering learning programs, and facilitating training and presentations. 2-3 years of direct supervisory or management experience. A degree in a related field is preferred. Proven background of training development, delivery, and program development at all levels of a business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.

Knowledge in the areas of current trends in security, change management, project management, and/or leadership development.

  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint highly desired.

  • Knowledge of Adobe Sign and Adobe Captive preferred.

  • Knowledge of Oracle Learn and SuccessFactors SAP preferred.

  • Prior experience with leveraging technology to deliver learning solutions.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION:

  • CPR/AED/First Aid Training Certification.

  • Washington State Guard Card preferred

  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, learning and development strategies, and methods of delivery for training programs

  • Ability to present training material and facilitate training programs and sessions articulately, confidently, and with ease.

  • Effective time management in order to deliver projects on-time and that meet expectations.

  • Ability to receive direct or indirect instruction in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form; act upon such instruction and partner with stakeholders for clarification when needed.

  • Competent writer; exhibits knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, detail-oriented workplace where judgment and professionalism were necessities.

  • Capably work under pressure while maintaining a professional image and approach with both internal and external customers.

  • Ability to create and revise documentation with a variety of stakeholders.

  • Ability to quickly learn and utilize new technologies as required and demonstrated ability to quickly learn unfamiliar areas of business.

  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and suitable training techniques.

  • Ability to coordinate the work of others and lead a team using project management skills and strategies.

  • Strong ability to adapt personal style and working approach to audience as needed.

  • Advanced understanding of security services and operations.
