Description

A leading Family Law firm in Tacoma is looking to add another Paralegal to their growing team. Candidates must have 2+ YOE handling Family Law cases in Pierce County to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive litigation and administrative support to attorneys

• Maintain and manage client files with utmost confidentiality and precision

• Manage scheduling aspects, including tracking deadlines, setting appointments, and planning for discovery, hearings, etc.

• Prepare standardized dissolution forms and other court documents

• Draft legal pleadings, declarations, and other essential documents

• Prepare and respond to discovery requests in a timely and accurate manner

• Draft detail-oriented correspondence to clients and other parties

• File legal documents and arrange for their service

• Ensure all hearings and deadlines are accurately noted and calendared

• Accurately bill for all executed work, maintaining transparency with clients.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience working as a Family Law Paralegal

• Experience filing cases in Pierce County

• Must be able to draft and prepare declarations
