FTE: 1.0 Shift: Day Schedule: Day Position Summary The Director of Trauma Program provides facilitation and direction for a multidisciplinary trauma service for an assigned Level II Trauma Center(s). The Director develops/implements and monitors systems to enhance care of trauma patients receiving services; serves as a resource for inter-intra disciplinary team members and patient families that participate in the care of trauma patients; develops and applies standards and research to enhance quality of patient care; implements and evaluates performance improvement; develops effective working relationships with all system providers and management; supervises assigned staff and participates in the development and monitoring of the assigned budget. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure. Requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing required Masters in Nursing with appropriate trauma subspecialty preferred Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification Certification in one or more of the following preferred: Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), or a Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Eight (8) years of professional/technical nursing experience required; preferably in an emergency or critical care nursing unit, with at least six months experience in trauma nursing Two (2) years of experience performing trauma accreditation work or working as a Trauma Manager/Coordinator/PI Coordinator responsible for program development and teaching Five (5) years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration, Kindness and Joy. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $139,298.00 - $192,379.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
