Overview: The Director of Total Rewards is a strategic leader responsible for implementing and managing the organization's Total Rewards programs, including compensation and benefits. This role ensures that programs align with the company's business objectives, culture, and talent strategy while remaining competitive, compliant, and responsive to the needs of a diverse, global workforce. Reporting to the VP of Total Rewards, this leader will be key in shaping innovative and sustainable compensation and benefits solutions to attract, retain, and motivate top talent. Location: Remote Key Responsibilities Strategy Development: Execute the Total Rewards strategy that aligns with the company's long-term business goals and values Lead the evaluation and optimization of compensation, benefits, and incentive programs to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity Identify opportunities to leverage technology to streamline, harmonize, and simplify the organization's legacy plans, policies, and programs Program Management: Oversee base pay administration and short- and long-term incentives Oversight of job architecture frameworks, market benchmarking, pay equity analysis, and annual compensation cycles. Ensure seamless delivery of all benefits programs, including enrollment, claims administration, and employee education Compliance and Governance: Monitor compliance with federal, state, and international regulations and collaborate on regulatory filings and governance processes Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business leaders and HR teams to develop solutions that align with organizational objectives and market trends Provide expert guidance with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners on Total Rewards strategies to attract and retain top talent Oversee the development of communication and training materials for managers and employees regarding Total Rewards programs and policies Vendor and Cost Management: Manage relationships with external providers, ensuring performance standards are met Evaluate and recommend cost-containment strategies while maintaining program quality and competitiveness Recommend and implement processes and tools to streamline work and increase efficiency and transparency Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field required; MBA or Master's degree strongly preferred 10+ years of progressive experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role Proven compensation and benefits expertise, including assessing market trends, compliance, and job evaluation methodologies Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, present insights, and influence decision-making Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders Experience leading strategic initiatives in fast-paced, dynamic environments Proficiency in total rewards best practices and regulatory requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance Competencies: Strategic and analytical thinking Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritize competing priorities to meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Salary Range: The starting range which will be offered to the selected candidate will be between $180,500 - $195,000 per year, plus eligibility for annual bonus, subject to plan terms. The full range for the position is $180,318 - $218,185. Pay is based on qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training and other considerations permitted by law.
