We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves working in both the customer service and parts data entry sectors within the logistics industry. The successful candidate will primarily handle customer service tasks related to logistics, including vehicle inquiries and reconciliations. They will also be responsible for data entry of codes related to individual units, and tracking parts used on cars.

Responsibilities:

• Handle logistics customer service tasks primarily via emails, including vehicle inquiries and reconciliations.

• Work with spreadsheets for each vehicle manufacturer, utilizing skills in Excel.

• Communicate with vehicle manufacturers, acting as a point of contact and maintaining professional relationships.

• Perform data entry of codes related to individual units so the installers know which parts go on which car/truck.

• Track parts used on cars, count for ordering, production, inventory.

• Reconcile data between multiple systems that do not 'talk' to each other, ensuring accuracy to prevent costly mistakes.

• Work in a separate location within the same building, adjacent to the shop where vehicles are worked on.

• Monitor and manage customer credit accounts, taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements

• Proficiency in logistics and global logistics operations

• Advanced knowledge and skills in Microsoft Excel, including Excel formulas and conditional formatting

• Demonstrated ability to perform accurate data entry

• Proven experience in account management

• Exceptional email communication skills

• Prior experience in a customer service role is beneficial

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
