Senior Engineering Manager

About the Role:

Parsons Corporation seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager to contribute to the groundbreaking NEOM THE LINE project. This pivotal role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple engineering disciplines, strong leadership skills, and a passion for innovative, sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership:

  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring adherence to industry standards, codes, and project specifications.

  • Collaborate with various engineering disciplines (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure seamless integration of systems and components.

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

  • Project Management:

  • Manage the engineering team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.

  • Coordinate with other project stakeholders, including construction teams, client representatives, and subcontractors.

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Quality Assurance:

  • Implement rigorous quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

  • Conduct regular quality audits and reviews to identify and address potential issues.

  • Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

  • Client Relations:

  • Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Represent Parsons at project meetings and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and leadership skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in engineering, with a strong focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, and regulations.

  • Experience with BIM and other advanced engineering tools.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
