Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a Director of Facade for our prestigious project based in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia

JOB SUMMARY:

Director of Façade will input into and aid the coordination of immediate sprint sessions by the Design Delivery Partners for the development of a Module Universal Chassis.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Reviews – work collaboratively with Design Delivery Partners

Project Execution - Ensure technical reviews and compliance of design engineering with controls to maintain and improve high quality deliverables to our clients.

  • Ensure that project plans are in place for all jobs within two weeks of project authorization. This is to result in better-planned projects and improved project team understanding of milestones, budget, and deliverables.

  • Target meeting or exceeding client expectation. Where non-compliance exists, ensure corrective action implementation occurs within three months of the reported non-compliance.

  • Provide direct input to proposals, strategic plans, client presentations and contract negotiations. Makes presentations to management and clients.

Office Planning - To prepare and implement regional growth plans.

  • Expand design capabilities to accommodate increased growth in design and support of other Parsons entities.

  • Participate in developing company policy.

  • Participate in interdepartmental workload and staffing plans.

  • Responsible for the results of department procedures used for monitoring and controlling cost and schedule.

Personnel Recruitment and Development of Staff - Focus on key personnel acquisitions, training and development, which strengthens our capability and make us more competitive in current and future markets.

  • Conduct informal quarterly and formal annual performance reviews with each manager. Assist in implementing a merit plan that retains qualified staff and rewards achievers.

  • Maintain staff to have sufficient technical and administrative depth to support the Middle East region.

Complete all projects on schedule and within man-hours and cost budgets.

Increase client satisfaction.

Improve client communications.

Decrease client changes.

Prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals.

Develop new opportunities from new and existing clients.

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

With a minimum of 25 years experience, The Director shall be degree qualified (by a Western University), with extensive design and construction experience. The Director shall have outstanding client relationship building skills and shall possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Thorough knowledge of contractual matters and project control is a must for this position. The Director shall be experienced in writing and pricing proposals and shall be capable of effectively communicating the project requirements to personnel involved in the project execution.

The Director should be able to implement the Quality Management System on his projects effectively and should have prior experience with approvals from different Government/Regulatory bodies for the Project Execution. The Director shall be capable of working with different agencies/departments like client, contractor, construction department.
