Description and Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • AssistTransitionManager in performing project management activities.

  • Coordinating project priorities across multiple tracks on a project and driving the project

  • Coordinate,scheduleandfacilitateclient and internal meetings and weekly status reportingand other teammeetings

  • Following established standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation

  • Drive a focus onconsistentcommunicationand project standardsinternally within the project team and externally withcustomer

  • Act as a point of contact for all project administrative tasks for the assigned project

  • UtilizeMS tools includingteams,projectandspreadsheets to track budgets,schedules, and other information.

  • Setup and manage processes forcontractmanagement,financial management, scope management and other elements of the projectmanagementprocesses

  • Oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time.

  • Create and manage project deliverables, milestones andrequiredtasks per theschedule

  • Coordination of and response to requests for changes from the original specifications

  • Building andmaintainingpositive working relationship with vendors and external/internal customers

. Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Strong Project Management skills; expert in organizing,planningand managing large-scaleprojects

  • Ability to analyze project needs anddetermineresources needed to meetobjectives

  • Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, time management skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and project management skills, including an ability to communicate effectively at an executivelevel

  • Ability to prioritize and manage work and trade-offs against critical timelines in a fast-pacedenvironment

  • Builds a strong internal and external network of personal relationships toidentifyissues and opportunities.

  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing a business issue and developing a future staterecommendation

  • Highly developed skills in using MSapplicationsincluding: Project and Visio

  • Understand and Create Process Flows (Swim lanes, flowcharts)

  • Understand and Create Technical Diagrams

  • Import from different sources of data

  • Data Analysis using charts, pivot tables,filtersandrules

  • Ability to set agendas andfacilitatemeetings, while focusing in on critical path discussion topics and necessary decisions

  • Strong negotiation ability and attention to detail

  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. 

  • Highly organized anddetail-oriented. 

  • Ability to work independently with littlesupervision

  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance, cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reportinglines

  • Ability to travel up to 50%

  • 4-6years of information technology and business experience

  • ABachelor'sdegree inIT,Business Administration,Engineeringor related discipline with an information technology focus

  • External project management certification such as PMP from PMI or other project management certification ispreferred

  • ITIL Foundation Certified is a Plus
