LAC SEND Regional Product Manager

As part of the LAC SEND Regional Product Management Team, the Mastercard Send Regional Product Manager is responsible for leading and executing a diverse set of processes, initiatives, analytics and reporting activities, working in partnership with Regional Send Product Management Director, Send BD leads, Global product and Customer Delivery units.

This requires a well-balanced combination of business analytic skills, good understanding of the card funding and push payments ecosystem, knowledge of Alternative Payment Methods (APM) as well as solid technical and operational expertise that supports the Send Product Mgt Strategy. .

Role & Key Responsibilities Description

• Acts as a business owner and manages long-term and short-term strategic initiatives for a Mastercard Send in the LAC region

• Oversee product evolution, establish go-to-market strategy, optimize products and resources, enhance product lead-time, implement incremental improvements within the product’s life cycle, and conduct ongoing care and maintenance.

• Take a data-driven approach to product enhancements, identifying opportunity areas and contributing to the Product roadmap, prioritizing work to deliver against key areas of focus

• Support Regional and Global product mgt practice on initiatives required for:

o product improvements conceptualization

o follow up on upcoming product capabilities

o key Product gaps, quality, investigations issues tracking.

• Support the preparation of intakes, Product Requirements Development (PRDs) and business case modeling for such initiatives.

• Lead analysis on market/pricing strategies and research initiatives assigned, working with regional/ global product and regional/global commercialization teams.

• Incorporate and understanding of the broader payments’ ecosystem into ongoing product management (e.g. regulatory, legal, technology, etc)

• Leverage data & dashboards to quickly identify Product performance challenges, making recommendations on proposed action plans

• Leverage working knowledge of Mastercard business, systems, products and customer requirements in making fact-based business and product decisions

• Lead and coordinate communications/training related to initiatives on product updates and bulletins/guides (working with commercialization, client delivery, operations)

• Creation of documentation /content related to internal Send processes tailored for LAC region, as well as customer facing product guidelines/thought leadership materials.

• Support on executing trainings to clients during pre-readiness or implementation phases.

• Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly to various audiences.

• Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively across diverse teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders.

All About You

• College education background preference in industrial / systems engineering / business administration

• 8-10 years' experience in Analyst rotation programs at global financial institutions, Consulting, Financial services Product Mgt roles, or any combination of roles working with financial institutions on implementations, training and support of APIs or similar technical services.

• Experience in the payment/technology industry in product development, technical implementations and integration, with focus on retail banking, card issuer, acquirer platforms.

• Experience in designing and mapping processes/flows, and project management.

• Knowledge of wallet funding, LAC RTPs, and alternative payment methods.

• Ability to engage quickly with key stakeholders, with experience working in a fast paced, dynamic work environment.

• Curious about competitive offerings and industry trends.

• Experience driving complex product solutions involving several internal/external stakeholders, consultative selling, cross functional teams or technical advisory work also a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in a highly technical environment

• Full English and Spanish skills required. Portuguese a big plus.
