This position will support medical education efforts for the Ethicon Franchise. The Professional Education Specialist will develop the education strategy and execution for the Bariatric Specialty and Wound Closure Platforms. This should be achieved through customer knowledge along with outstanding collaboration and teamwork with the Professional Education Manager and Specialties, as well as Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Compliance, PR&O, Strategic Accounts, and the Regional Education team.

The Professional Education Specialist is involved in Education Programming, content/curriculum delivery, integration of innovative technologies, administrative coordination, communication, budget control, and adherence to critical functional processes. This individual is responsible for adhering to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as Company Health Care Compliance policies. They must develop the HCP Learning Journey strategy and plan, aligning Medical Education strategy, plans, and activities with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Hema Teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Work together with internal stakeholders to drive the implementation of Medical Education events, controlling the budget for local ProfEd events of responsibility.

Define the agenda and execute ProfEd programs.

Implement ProfEd processes in specialties of responsibility in Brazil, aligned with Regional ProfEd.

Effective time management is crucial for this professional, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or similar are required.

Background in Medical devices,

experience with Ethicon surgical devices is desirable

Proficient English language level is required and Spanish is a plus

.Experience in training and education program implementation, ideally in Medical Devices matters.

Experience in budget and financial management and vendor management required.
