The Global Partner Solutions (GPS) team is a sales organization accountable for the commercial partner business at Microsoft, and the mission is to build and sell Microsoft Cloud applications, services and devices with partners, empowering people, and organizations to achieve more.

As the Manager for the Channel Sales Team, you will build and manage a team of high performing Solution Area Sellers focused on the channel serving our Small and Medium customers. You will inspire the team, lead by example and encourage progress and excellence. You will become a trusted advisor to C-Suite partner executives as you drive business excellence and deliver revenue impact for Microsoft and our Partners.

Responsibilities

o Set an understanding of objectives, priorities and goals.

o Coach the team to have an effective sales plan to ensure that they can meet their targets.

o Provide oversight and guidance on sales execution and performance!

o Ensure that your team is associated to a set of top partners in a mix that will drive both performance and growth

· Business Excellence and Strategy Leader

o Land the vision and the mission of the organization and more specifically for your team.

o Coach to accelerate New Business Growth

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 11+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field AND 4+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experienceOR Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experience.

  • 5+ years people management experience.

  • Fluency in English and Brazilian Portuguese

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 18+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field AND 7+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experienceOR Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field AND 5+ years of core sales, channel sales, industry or solution selling, business development experience.

  • 7+ years of people management experience
