Boeing Brazil is seeking an Associate Electronic Systems Design Engineer, reporting to the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Manager, working out of the Sao Jose Dos Campos office,

The Associate Electronic Systems Design Engineer will be pivotal in the design, development, and production support of our Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) Platform Architecture and Airplane Electronic Hardware (AEH) & Software. You will translate high-level concepts into specific architectures and operational specifications, integrating avionics systems and components into our advanced airplanes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Component design, development and qualification to applicable aerospace standards.

  • System Requirements documentation, validation, and verification

  • Integrate with IMA Platform hosted functions to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

  • Verification of system designs to meet operational and functional requirements.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with requirements.

This position is hybrid/telecommuting. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil

  • Must have a degree in Engineering

  • Relevant Experience in Electronic & Electrical Design engineering

  • Proficient verbal and written communications skills in English

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

  • Electrical or Computer engineering degree.

  • Experience within Electronic Systems hardware and software design.

  • Experience with Ethernet Network Data Buses.

  • Familiarity with engineering processes and methods.

  • Experience working with cross functional teams.

  • Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment.

  • Experience with Model Based Development tools.

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.
