Senior Product Development Engineer

What is the job about?

  • As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from ideation to launch. Design, prototype, test, and refine products to meet the needs of our customers.

  • Develop and engineer products/technologies with a cross-functional team, meeting customer demands agreed with product management.

  • Analyse, define and implement new features to our products to secure a fit between customer needs, available product features, and production capability. Handle daily tasks to support the product technical documentation.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for part of a product/technology area.

  • Ensure transfer of products to the full value chain.

  • Provide substance and content within your own professional field.

  • Develop the professional area by providing input to roadmap for future activities.

  • Develop and implement key technologies.

  • Ensure knowledge sharing and mentoring.

  • Deliver to product development projects.

  • Specify tests in compliance with relevant norms and product approval standards.

  • Plan and conduct tests and laboratory tasks.

  • Create product solutions in wastewater applications (technical clarification, motors, documentation such as datasheet and 3D drawings).

  • Daily work to support the product line(s) with dedication and true ownership.

  • Work according to prioritised task backlog.

  • Contribute, support, and ensure a well-functioning and self-organised SCRUM team.

  • You will be the technical link between the market, sales, development, and suppliers.

Your background:

We imagine that you have:

  • Bachelor/Master's degree in engineering, or equivalent work experience.

  • Fundamental technical knowledge.

  • 5-7 years relevant experience.

  • Proficient English and Hungarian– verbal and written.

  • Ability to plan activities in close collaboration with other functions.

  • Open, reliable, and trustworthy.

  • Ability to take responsibility and drive tasks from start to end.
