Then apply now, as you might be the Category Buyer (m/w/d), we’re looking for to join our Purchasing Center of Expertise for Professional Services & Travel. Here, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that Grundfos continues to drive cost efficiency, operational excellence, innovation, sustainability, and flexibility in our supplier base for the HR category.

What is the job about?

You will work with the HR category and play an active role in procuring a range of services such as employee benefits, HR consulting, learning and development, payroll, recruitment, temporary labor and mobility to name a few.

As a Category Buyer, you will work closely with the Senior Category Manager HR and together conduct value-based sourcing and securing efficient category management. At the same time, you’ll act as a trusted purchasing business within the category to the group functions and business stakeholders. You will be reporting to the Chief Category Manager for Professional Services & Travel and will work closely together with the remaining team located across Denmark, Germany, and Hungary.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Support development of sourcing strategy.

  • Execute the sourcing strategy by using purchasing tools such as Ariba and Sievo.

  • Support market intelligence research and analysis activities for visibility in key cost drivers and market trends, industry best practices.

  • Support value & savings delivery for the category – including leading negotiations and tendering processes

  • Support supplier portfolio optimization (i.e. cost efficiency, productivity, sustainability, and flexibility)

  • Support data transparency activities and reporting activities

  • Support preparation and facilitation of business reviews

  • Support the supplier’s performance assessment and development.

  • Ensure optimization on relevant KPI´s (e.g. savings, sustainability, cost avoidance, payment terms)

  • Deliver value creation beyond price through proactive development of spend management, supplier portfolio and performance, quality, flexibility, sustainability, partnership and innovation

  • Contract management with suppliers in compliance with Group policies, standards and requirements on sustainability, ethics and Grundfos values.

  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders across multiple countries and hence you should expect some travel activities (typically around 3-4 international trips per year)

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Relevant commercial/technical education

  • Minimum 2-3 years professional experience within indirect procurement and ideally have experience from sourcing HR services.

  • Ability to operate autonomously with little supervision to achieve tasks assigned.

  • Drive to act as a purchasing business partner leveraging yourcommunication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

  • A team player profile by being collaboration oriented and you are committed to the team and its purpose

  • Focus on result- and actions
