NORTH DAVIS SEWER DISTRICT Journeyman or Master Electrician in SYRACUSE, Utah

The DISTRICT is accepting applications for the position of Journeyman Electrician with the ability to achieve the Master Electrician license within 1 year of hiring or a current Master Electrician.
1. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of technical treatment plant equipment and machinery and its operation, control, maintenance, and repair; thorough knowledge of plant processes; thorough knowledge of hazards and precautions associated with plant operations and processes.
Thorough knowledge of a wide variety of electronic sensing, monitoring, and controlling devices including pressure, temperature, flow, level, electrical (volt, amp, freq, phase, etc.), gauges, transmitters, probes, RTU's, RTD's, etc.
Ability to monitor, maintain, troubleshoot electric motors, Variable Frequency Drives, local control panels, field wiring, and motor starters.
Ability to use computer and computer systems to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot plant's SCADA system.
Must be able to follow and adhere to all plant safety procedures, and demonstrate good safe work practices when working in all electrical cabinets.
Good understanding of MS Excel and MS Access.
Demonstrated ability to be self motivated and be a self starter, taking initiative within job description and authority.
Demonstrated ability to work with others in a team environment with shared goals and tasks.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Special Qualifications:
Must possess a Wastewater Treatment Operator Grade IV Certification or obtain within 3 years.
Must possess a valid Utah State Driver's license.
Must possess a Utah Journeyman's Electrical license
Must be willing to work on-call (24 hour), and respond to the plant site within 30 minutes of a call out after hours.
