SUNY Upstate Medical University Technologist Aide in Syracuse, New York
Job Summary:
University Radiology Associates, LLP is seeking a Technologist Aide for their facility at 550 Harrison Street, Syracuse.
To call patients regarding appointment reminders
To get patients on and off the imaging table
Patient assistance in and out of the department
Bathroom assistance, when needed, before the exam
Patient readied for exam (clothes changed when necessary, jewelry off)
Stocking supplies in the department
General assistance in the department
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program or one year experience directly related to the medical field; Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required. Will consider equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Health related experience preferred (ex. MA, LPN, CNA, home health aide)
Work Days:
Monday thru Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm occasional OT
