SRC, Inc Program Financial Analyst in Syracuse, New York
- Set up charge number structures in cost collection tool.
- Create and/or maintain Excel reports for use in analyzing programmatic financial data.
- Establish and maintain program baselines, estimates to complete (ETC), and estimates at completion (EAC) on programs.
- Present program level financial performance at monthly/quarterly reviews.
- Support and maintain program EVM (Earned Value Management)
- Prepare and distribute monthly financial tracking reports to program teams.
- Assist in analysis of material, labor, subcontractor and other direct costs transactions.
- Partner with contracts, accounting, engineering and program management perform all financial activities and to provide financial guidance.
- Analyze/validate financial results including revenue, labor, material, and other costs.
- Support monthly budget vs actual variance analysis.
- Support month end closing activities.
- Support Ad Hoc financial analysis requests from internal and external customers.
- Maintain compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, business or related field with 3 or more years of financial reporting and analysis experience.
- Experience:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including using Pivot tables in excel, Cost Point & COBRA, experience a plus
- Experience with Earned Value Management
- Must be a proven team player with excellent organization, communication, interpersonal skills, and analytic skills.
- Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
