SUNY Upstate Medical University Outpatient Psychiatric and Addiction Advanced Practice Provider (Psych NP or PA) in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary: Be experienced or willing to be trained in the assessment and treatment of outpatient psychiatric and addiction patients on an academic service. Teach trainees diagnosis, psychotherapy and medication management of outpatients.

Minimum Qualifications:

NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice). Must have NPI number and be Medicare Enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP or ANCC, and Master's Degree) (eligibility criteria for PA requires graduation from an accredited PA program and National Certification through NCCPA). Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.
