Comfort Windows Order Entry Clerk in Syracuse, New York
COMFORT WINDOWS & DOORS , New York’s premier replacement window and home improvement company , is seeking an ORDER ENTRY CLERK who will be involved in the purchasing of products for our service department .
Position involves:
Receive detailed customer orders from our service representatives
Interpret their notes, measurements, photos, and additional information
Enter data into the job ordering system for submittal to manufacturing and/or vendor
Very detailed work requiring precise interpretation and judgment
Requirements include:
Proficient in using computer
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Effective oral and written skills
Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player
Ability to interact effectively with all employees and vendors
Accurate data entry is a must as this is a very detailed position
Ability to comprehend complex paperwork and transpose to accurate ordering of product
Previous experience with another home improvement company would be highly preferred
