SUNY Upstate Medical University OBGYN Advanced Practice Provider in Syracuse, New York
Job Summary:
SUNY Upstate is looking for you to be a part of our Advance Provider Team. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) you will serve in a full-time capacity to provide OB/GYN Care to patients in an outpatient setting at our Women’s Health Services at Upstate University Health Care Center (UHCC).
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Provide expert level clinical care assessing & evaluating patients.
Coordination of care via a full range of services improving quality of patient care.
Ordering appropriate laboratory testing & diagnostic studies.
Arrange referrals, testing, consultation & therapeutic services.
Maintain outstanding relationships with families, referring physicians & all members of the health care team.
As an APP you are a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team which demonstrates professionalism and leadership within the institution, exemplifying the Upstate mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Upstate policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
NYS Licensed/Registered NP or PA.
Current National Certification consistent to the clinical practice.
NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required. Have a NPI number and be Medicare enrolled with a Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN) (or eligible for Medicare Enrollment within 6 months of hire.
CPR-BLS Certification required at the time of appointment.
Must successfully pass pre-employment and credentialing clearances.
Preferred Qualifications:
2 years of OB/GYN experience and/or 2 years of Primary Care experience.
Work Days:
Monday - Friday, Days- 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
