SUNY Upstate Medical University Nursing Practice Excellence Coordinator in Syracuse, New York

Job Summary:

The Nursing Practice Excellence Coordinator will provide administrative support and data management/analytics for activities within the Nursing Practice Excellence Department. This role will be primarily responsible for coordinating activities associated with Shared Governance, Nurse Residency Program, Mentorship & Succession Programs, Nursing Certifications, Nursing higher education, and Clinical Advancement Program. The NPE Coordinator will collaborate with NPE program managers to ensure timely and accurate data entry and dissemination associated with the various programs, as well as support document submission for program(s) accreditation(s).

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 2 years of relevant experience OR Associates degree and 4 years relevant experience required. Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Access required. Excellent written/oral communication, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem solving, and computer skills necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Healthcare administration or Business preferred. Background in data analysis, data reporting, project organization/management preferred. Minimum of 2 years administrative experience in healthcare setting preferred.
