NBT Bank Human Resources Project Coordinator in Syracuse, New York

Pay Range: $60,450.00 - $76,619.00

The Human Resources Project Coordinator will be responsible for the effective coordination and support of key project implementation activities. This position will research, plan, coordinate, and effectively support multiple departmental projects and assignments in a timely and collaborative manner to deliver optimal results within budgetary considerations. Collaborates closely with all members of the Human Resources team. Provides detailed updates and reports on key initiatives and projects.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years human resources experience preferred.

  • Project management experience.

  • Experience with HCM system, preferably Workday.

  • M&A activity experience preferred.

  • Ability to function in a fast paced, diverse, and dynamic environment.

  • Possesses broad in-depth industry knowledge.

  • Maintains confidential and sensitive information.

  • Ability to research and interpret legal regulations.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Tasks Performed:

  • 35% Assists in planning and supporting the implementation of HR-related projects. Coordinates and maintains project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets and status reports. Coordinates meetings and follows up on action items. Tracks project progress and provides updates on timelines, deliverables, and potential risks. Is involved and works with confidential and sensitive information.

  • 25% Collects and analyzes data related to a variety of project and assignment metrics. Assists in preparing reports and presentations for HR leadership and other stakeholders. Ensures all HR projects and assignments comply with company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements. Monitor project outcomes to ensure they meet defined objectives and standards.

  • 20% Researches legislative requirements to new HR-related policies and revisions needed to current policies. Prepares and distributes related communications, including emails, reports, and presentations.

  • 15% Supports, influences, and is a key contributor toward general human resources compliance activities . Collaborates with HR leaders and business partners on required reporting and documentation.

  • 5% Other duties as assigned

  • Stationary 75% of time or greater

  • Move Objects to Maximum 10 lbs
