Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Buyer in the Manufacturing industry, located in SYRACUSE, New York, 13204-2859, United States. As a Buyer, you will be expected to bring your analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to our team. You will handle a variety of tasks, including maintaining accurate records, resolving inquiries, and monitoring accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize your strong computer skills to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Demonstrate your adaptability in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate customer credit records.
• Utilize your solid communication and interpersonal skills to resolve customer inquiries.
• Show initiative in monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action.
• Apply your experience with ERP Solutions, particularly Macola, to enhance our buying processes.
• Leverage your knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel in your daily tasks.
• Display your enthusiasm and quick learning abilities in adapting to new systems and reports, such as Crystal Reports and ESynergy.
• Use your solid follow-through and follow-up skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Display your organized nature in managing and maintaining the accounting functions.
• Use your experience in the manufacturing industry to provide valuable insights and contributions.
Requirements • Proven experience as a Chef, with a deep understanding of culinary techniques and processes.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), with a particular focus on Epicor software.
• Strong knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions, demonstrating a strategic approach to resource management.
• Familiarity with 'About Time' software, showcasing an ability to manage time and tasks efficiently.
• Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency.
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), demonstrating a solid background in financial management.
• Expertise in Buying Processes, showcasing an ability to negotiate and make strategic purchasing decisions.
• Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
