Position Summary

The Guest Services (Switchboard) Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth operation of the department ensuring total guest and associate satisfaction. This role will suit someone trained in a Front Office role and is looking for their next challenge as a supervisor in the world's leading hospitality company.

About the Role

  • Support associates with any queries on shift

  • Verify and adjust billing for guests

  • Accommodate requests for room changes when possible

  • Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible

  • Co-ordinate with Housekeeping / Engineering team and update room status

  • Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks

  • Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns

  • Follow up with guest regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.

  • Assisting to process In Room Dining orders

About you

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • Supervisory experience is preferred

  • Tertiary Education in Tourism/ Hospitality and/or Management preferred

  • Capable knowledge of Opera PMS

  • Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster

  • Proven ability to work under pressure
