Position Summary
The Guest Services (Switchboard) Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth operation of the department ensuring total guest and associate satisfaction. This role will suit someone trained in a Front Office role and is looking for their next challenge as a supervisor in the world's leading hospitality company.
About the Role
Support associates with any queries on shift
Verify and adjust billing for guests
Accommodate requests for room changes when possible
Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible
Co-ordinate with Housekeeping / Engineering team and update room status
Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks
Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns
Follow up with guest regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.
Assisting to process In Room Dining orders
About you
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Supervisory experience is preferred
Tertiary Education in Tourism/ Hospitality and/or Management preferred
Capable knowledge of Opera PMS
Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster
Proven ability to work under pressure
