Introduction
As an IBM Maximo SME, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Maximo SME to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert-level knowledge and support for Maximo implementations, including configuration, customization, and integration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Maximo software and a proven track record of delivering high-quality Maximo solutions.
Responsibilities
Maximo Configuration and Customization
Configure and customize Maximo to meet the needs of our clients.
Develop and maintain Maximo configurations and customizations.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that Maximo configurations and customizations are aligned with business objectives.
Integrate Maximo with other systems and applications.
Develop and implement data interfaces, APIs, and web services.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that Maximo integrations are aligned with business objectives.
Test and validate Maximo implementations to ensure they meet business requirements.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that Maximo implementations are thoroughly tested and validated.
Develop and maintain Maximo test plans and test cases.
Develop and deliver Maximo training and documentation to end-users and IT staff.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that Maximo training and documentation are aligned with business objectives.
Develop and maintain Maximo training and documentation materials.
Provide expert-level support and maintenance for Maximo implementations.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure that Maximo support and maintenance are aligned with business objectives.
Develop and maintain Maximo support and maintenance plans and schedules.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Relevant certifications, such as IBM Certified Application Developer - Maximo or SAP Certified Application Associate.
8+ years of experience in Maximo implementation, configuration, customization, and integration.
Experience in a similar industry or sector.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality Maximo solutions.
Strong understanding of Maximo software, including configuration, customization, and integration.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Excellent knowledge of Maximo architecture, including design patterns, data modeling, and system integration.
Ability to design and implement Maximo solutions using various technologies, such as Java, .NET, or Python.
Experience with Maximo tools, such as Maximo Designer or Maximo Test Manager.
Excellent knowledge of data modeling, including entity-relationship diagrams and data warehousing.
Ability to design and implement data models for Maximo solutions.
Strong understanding of system integration, including APIs, web services, and messaging protocols.
Ability to design and implement system integrations for Maximo solutions.
