The Role
The purpose of this position is to manage multiple functions of building operations and maintenance for a portfolio of buildings. Overseeing the facility maintenance management and safety programs for an assigned region and manage performance metrics in accordance with account KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).
Here's a snapshot of your day;
Oversees maintenance and repair tasks conducted by technicians, vendors, and contractors for building upkeep, landscaping, and janitorial duties.
Handles client inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution of issues.
Conducts facility inspections and generates reports to assess maintenance needs and track performance.
Coordinates and manages activities related to moves, additions, and changes within the facilities.
Manages vendor relationships, provides training on work order and billing procedures, processes invoices, and ensures accurate cost center coding.
Assists in budget preparation and reviews financial reports to identify and rectify discrepancies, collaborating with the finance team as needed.
Our Ideal Person:
Knowledge of HS&E standards and technical aspects within facilities operation are ideal
Background in Facility, Building Services, or Maintenance Management.
People Skills – Provides formal supervision to individual employees within regional operational area
Excellent Communication Skills – Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, using SharePoint and Microsoft Office Outlook skills
